Diablo 4 Season 9 Build Guide: Giga Evade Spiritborn for Torment 4 Farming
Jul-10-2025

If you've been wondering how I'm shredding Torment 4 content in just a few hours of gameplay this season, this article is for you. My Evade Spiritborn build is already rocking Paragon 200+ and clearing nightmare dungeons like butter-even without most Uber Uniques. This guide will break down the full build, why it works, and how to optimize your farming from the jump.

Why This Build Works: Spiritborn and Evade Synergy

The backbone of this setup revolves around the Evade mechanic, Gorilla attacks, and leveraging the new Season 9 Spiritborn systems to pump out enormous damage with near-infinite mobility. It's powerful, it's fast, and most importantly-it's accessible, even without perfect gear.

Core Mechanics:

Thunderspike + Gorilla Conversion = Triggers Unyielding Hits repeatedly

Evade Reset Loops = Infinite dodging while maintaining DPS

Barrier Scaling = High survivability through Bottled Wind and other gem/passive interactions

Seasonal Powers = Boosts like Lightning Float Bubble and Bloody Charm amplify damage output

Gear and Itemization Breakdown

Let's go through the gear pieces I'm running right now. Keep in mind: this build is working with mostly scuffed gear and still dominates Torment 4. That's how strong the synergy is.

Key Items:

 Harmony of Evaka

Converts all your skills into Gorilla skills, allowing Thunderspike to trigger Unyielding Hits and maximize uptime. This is mandatory for the build to function.

Sunbird Gorge Amulet

Converts Evade into a Jaguar skill, boosting crit and synergy with Jaguar-specific passives.

Jaken Shell or Shako (Optional)

I'm not running Shako yet, but it'll be my next upgrade. Jaken Shell works just fine if you don't have access to Uber Uniques.

Boots with Evade Cooldown Reduction

Even just one cooldown roll on boots is enough to create a pseudo-infinite evade loop when paired with Thunderspike.

Disobedience Pants

Standard high-armor option that scales well with Barrier and Fortify setups.

Storm Feather + Eagle Hall Weapon

Prioritize primary Eagle Hall and Storm Feather Potency. My rolls are decent but still have room to improve.

Skill Tree Setup (Spirit Hall)

This is what my current Spirit Hall tree looks like, focusing on raw output and evade cycling:

Notables:

Thunderspike-Primary spam skill, sets off Unyielding Hits, and triggers evade reset.

Feathers (Jaguar converted)-Passive bonuses and critical strike synergy via Sunbird Gorge.

Barrier Passives-Boosted via Bottled Wind and Conceited Aspect for massive uptime.

Vital Strikes, Furnace, Hunter-Offensive powerhouses, used in bursts to melt elites and bosses.

Sapping + Viscus Shield-Helps with sustain and adds synergy with Paragon boards.

How to Maintain Infinite Evade

Here's the trick that many players overlook: bind "Hold Position" in your key settings.

Step-by-Step:

Hold down Thunderspike (right-click or bind)

Bind Shift + Skill to "Hold Position" in the controls menu

Press spacebar to Evade and spam right-click

This lets you stay stationary and constantly reset your Evade cooldown with Thunderspike, even with just one cooldown roll on your boots. Super effective, and you'll never be caught standing still.

Seasonal Powers

Diablo 4 Season 9 introduced Seasonal Powers through Horadric Strong Rooms and materials. Here's what I'm currently running:

Lightning Float Bubble-Multiplier when not under permanent effects (synergizes with Unhindered).

Bottled Wind-Constant Barrier, enables Conceited Aspect damage bonuses.

 Bloody Charm-Great for executes.

Celestial Surge / Disintegrate-Flexible slot based on preference.

30x Multiplier on Barrier + Fortify-Insane bonus when stacked correctly.

Tip: You can adjust these based on your build's focus. If you're missing some legendaries, run alternatives-Thunderspike is the only mandatory core.

How to Farm Sigils in Season 9

Many players are confused right now because Nightmare Dungeons no longer drop sigils at the end. That's not a bug-it's an intentional change.

Here's how to get Sigils now:

 Helltides

 Whispers

Horadric Strong Rooms-Best strategy by far

Pro Tip: You don't need to complete full dungeons anymore. Just open the Horadric Room, clear it, grab your rewards, and leave. That's all.

This method gives seasonal powers, materials, and sometimes Uber loot drops. It's the fastest route to progress right now.

Horadric Strong Room Strategy

Every dungeon run should be about Strong Room first. These rooms give:

 Massive Opite

 Seasonal Powers

 Rare items

 Currency materials

Just look for Nightmare Keys with Horadric Strong Room affixes. Once you clear the room and loot up, feel free to leave. No need to finish the rest of the dungeon.

Why? Dungeon bosses no longer guarantee key drops. Efficiency matters-don't waste time.

Final Tips & Gameplay Summary

Here's a quick wrap-up of how you should be playing this build:

Always hold down Thunderspike to maintain Evade uptime

Trigger Unyielding Hits via Gorilla conversions

Use Hunter/Furnace for big boss bursts

Farm Horadric Strong Rooms to power up your character fast

Stack Barrier and Potency for multipliers

Don't stress about Ubers-Evaka setup is strong even with scuffed gear

Final Note:

Even with minimal masterworks and just one Uber, this build is absolutely Torment 4 ready. Buy best Diablo 4 Items and Diablo 4 Gold from MMOtg to help you, you can expect full farming capability with a little time investment and smart planning.
